LAMP
We specialise in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/Python/PHP) hosting. LAMP is the archetypal open source hosting platform. Linux is a UNIX-like operating system, Apache is webserver software, MySQL is the database software and Perl, Python and PHP are web scripting languages
According to Netcraft over 68% of the Internet's websites use Apache hosting. O'Reilly reckon that LAMP is 'the platform of choice for the development and deployment of high performance web applications. It is solid and reliable...'.
You could run PHP scripts under Windows with Apache, but we prefer to use the industry standard for reliable PHP hosting. 5quidhost don't think there's a better platform for PHP hosting, or for any website hosting in general.
Joomla hosting
